hi! thanks for checking out my blogsite. i am carla marie and i am an on location, natural light, wedding and portrait photographer from edmonton, alberta, canada.

i love being a photographer and photography is my passion. and, i can also tell you how i have always loved photography (true story ) and how it was only just recently though (new years 2009) i finally decided to do something about the secret dream i had of becoming a photographer.

buuuuutttt, that is all pretty boring and i would rather tell you a few random things like this:

- i’m 30 but i swear i still feel 17

- i love glitter and recently bought a pack of 24 different colours from michaels. my current favourite use for it is to layer over the nail polish on the fingernail beside my pinky!

- i LOVE to *almost* online shop. what does that mean, you ask? well, i spend forever on a site and fill up my cart to then realize that bree really doesn’t need 3 more striped bathing suits, or i would never have anywhere to wear this dress.

- my favourite colour is green (with grey and pink as close seconds). can you see where my branding came from!

- my husband and i met in hawaii when i was 15 and he was 17 (and i am still crazy about hime!). ask me about it when we meet, it is still my favourite story to tell.

- my toenails are never without polish on them.

- my internet home page is the new york times photojournalism blog and i secretly wish i was a world travelling photojournalist!

- i love 5 cent candy from 7-11. too much.

- we live 10 minutes away from my parents and my in-laws!

- i love love love to read and my best birthday present was my kobo.

- my two year old, bree, is seriously the most amazing, hilarious, smart, perfect little thing there is.

- i literally get butterflies in my tummy when i shoot a couple in love.

- i love waterslides.

- i am addicted to pinterest- you should follow my boards!
