eeeeek! i was so excited to see New Moon on opening night. i didn’t start reading the series until last year when all the girls in my grade six class were ooohing and aaahing over it. i started it just to appease them and got completely hooked. i read all four novels in a weeks time. i kept the books on the passenger side and would hope for a red light while driving to school so i could keep reading. i am a nerd- i am aware!
i am an edward fan through and through and even the shirtless jacob couldn’t sway me! i will admit there was a small part of me that wanted jacob and bella to kiss during the “truck scene” but the moment bella was back in edward’s arms i couldn’t believe i had been so easily swayed!! so lame, i know. i was obsessed with romeo and juliet in grade ten (it was the year leonardo dicaprio played romeo) and this gives me the same butterflies. AND, how can you knock a series that has gotten SO many kids reading?
